Tom Bosley was a fun actor who made many laugh in his role as "Mr. Cunningham," (Mr. C) in the hit show "Happy Days." He also bought lots of mystery and smiles to cable as "Father Dowling" in "Father Dowling Mysteries," 1989 to 1990.
He was an extremely talented stage and television actor. His career took off after appearing in the Broadway musical "Fiorello," and from there he went on to star beside screen legends such as: Natalie Wood and Joan Crawford.
In 1994, he played "Maurice" in "Beauty and the Beast," the musical. He starred in a number of television movies and specials.
As a child, I watched "Father Dowling," and "Murder She Wrote." I remember how much my family enjoyed him as an actor. He was talented, and was a fantastic character actor.
He died at the age of 83, of "heart failure."
